 Foxes Lair June-July Highlights

Patches of colour appear in the bush, particularly on sandy and gravelly soils.
Highlights are pink and white Honeybush Hakea shrubs and the 3 species of purple pea flower Hoveas, with the occasional bright yellow wattle.
• Look for small delicate tube flowered Astrolomas and Leucopogons and the inconspicuous but fascinating Greenhood orchids. In July showy yellow and orange Dryandra flowers appear.
• Look for beautiful pink Frasers Dryandra  flowers on red soil on the Claypit Walk near the Claypit.See map below.
• The Granite Walk winds through green growth, granite boulders and rock ferns. Look for bullets at the rifle range bank.
