 Foxes Lair September Highlights

September is the peak flowering month, particularly  orchids with early flowering orchids finishing and new ones coming into flower.
In normal seasons the bush is a mass of different flowers, with highlights being tassel grevillea and other proteaceae, shrub wattles, sundews, hibbertias, pea flowers, and everlastings.

. Stark white spider orchids and other orchids on the valley walk in early September. 
• The Claypit is a great place for kids and for a picnic. In late September you can see dragon orchids around the Claypit 
• The granite walk winds through green growth, granite boulders a nd rock ferns. Look for bullets at the rifle range bank
• See dewy spider webs on misty mornings and local roos in early mornings and evening.
