HIGHBURY NATURE RESERVE
Located in the township of Highbury 15 kms south of Narrogin, this reserve is a wildflower hotspot, particularly for stark white spider orchids in September. A 1 km easy walk trail features an amazing variety of orchids and other winter/spring wildflowers. Best time to visit is June to October, but there is also good bird watching at any time of the year. Dogs on leash are welcome. Picnic table, toilet and free RV camping are nearby in town opposite the general store and the tavern. Motel and farmstay accommodation are available. A day visit here could include historic Wolwolling Pool (100 metre walk to pool) or wildflower-rich Newman Block.
